I am curious to know what everyones daily house hold routines are. Post it and let us learn from eachother!
Here is mine, but sometimes it is not followed perfectly :-)
Everyday:
make bed, dishes, straighten main living areas, vacuum (sp?) and do a load of laundry.
Main daily chores I do a deeper cleaning job:
Monday-Laundry
Tuesday: Kitchen
wednesday: Living and family rooms
Thursday: bathrooms
Friday: bedroom
Sometimes also if the house is a mess and I have a lot going on that day and I don't have a lot of time I will set my kitchen timer for 10 minutes and clean like a mad women and see how much I can get done before the timer goes off. And I try to call it good for that day

Okay, here is my daily/weekly routine:
ReplyDeleteEveryday I make beds, straighten up, and do dishes.
Mondays-mop wood floors, vacuum, and groceries
Tuesdays- Clean the kitchen really well, and clean my bathroom
Wednesdays- Vacuum and dust EVERYTHING!
Thursdays- kids laundry
Fridays- mine and Bryce's laundry, including towels and vacuum.
Saturdays- change the sheets on beds and wash the dirty sheets. Also, on the first saturday of every month I mop all the tile in the house.
Wowza! Impressive! I think many of you saw my cleaning routine with the schedule I posted a while back. Here's sorta how everything OTHER THAN cleaning goes at my house...
ReplyDelete7 am- up, showered, dressed, waking the big boys, who sadly I still have to "babysit" through getting ready for the day. Homework with them before school because we just are not capable of accomplishing it during daycare hours!
8 am- babies up, fed, changed etc.
8:30-11:00- Conquer the dailies for housework, respond to business email, make phone calls etc.
11-12 clean up for lunch, prepare, feed, and preschoolers out the door
12-2 nap Paxton, conquer the weeklies for housework, do lunch dishes, etc.
2-3:30 preschoolers home, format and cut vinyl, BRACE myself for kiddos to come from school and tie up loose ends
3:30 tackle chores with kids
4-5:30 ensure carpool to swimming takes place, answer doors and phones between daycare and vinyl
5:30-6:30 prepare and serve dinner
7 dinner clean-up, family time
8:00 Jammie alarm on my cell goes off to remind kids to get ready for bed
8:30 second jammie alarm warns kids now or never
8:45-9:15 scriptures, prayer
9:15 teeth & tuck-ins
This is great! I love being the fly on the wall at everyones house. Valerie I also love how you broke down your whole day for us. I don't know how you do it all with daycare!
ReplyDeleteOne thing is for sure! A womens work is never done is it!
Keep it coming everyone!
I am very impressed by your daily/weekly routines. I am still trying to figure out what our routine will be here. It is a little difficult when it is not your very own house, but I now have some great things to implement. The only constant is change at our place and Mondays are the cleaning/laundry etc. etc. day.
ReplyDeleteI usually shower in the AM...that is really my only routine that I am holding onto right now! HA! I will get better, hopefully sooner than later!
ReplyDeleteSharon N- I MISS YOU! Michele, are you having all sorts of morning sickness? If all else fails, make your bed. Then you have a place of solitude to hide when the rest is crazy!
