Ever have those days when.....
Ever have one of those days when if someone showed up at your door you'd totally NOT answer it! Well today is one of them at my house. It's THAT bad!! Guess I shouldn't be on the computer and I should be getting my house decrapified. No one come over k. If you do it will be a wasted trip cuz I'm not answering!

Giggling. My house looks that way EVERY day, no matter WHAT I do to try to prevent it. That's why I do my lists, just cuz at least if I have it crossed off somewhere, there's evidence that it was once done! Michele C. saw my master bath the other day and I realized how filthy it was AFTER she left. It isn't filthy anymore! Giggling! I think sometimes we gotta realize that the best compliment to a friend of how good of friends you really are is when you CAN answer a door on one of those days and find a way to not apologize the entire time the friend is there for how trashed your house is. So, everyone, my house is trashed, as always, but come on over if you want to! Jen if you came over here you'd feel better about yours, I promise!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite comment from my sister when her visiting teachers came over unexpected is..."Don't mind the mess, we just live here." I think everyone, especially anyone wtih kids, is in the same boat!
